Born in 1975. Graphic artist, painter. Created illustrations for more than 30 children's, educational, cognitive literature books. Between her most famous works are "Vario varteliai" by the children's poet Martynas Vainilaitis. This book became the winner of the children's "Book of the Year 2006" competition.
Edita Suchockytė
Edita completed her bachelor's and master's studies at the Vilnius Art Academy (teachers - Raimondas Miknevičius, Mikalojus Vilutis, Leonas Lagauskas).
E. Suchockytė is best known as portrait and large-format etching artist, which stand out by her professionalism. She also draws cartoons and creates monotypes. In her work E.Suchockytė balances between technical mastery and casual frivolity.
Artist tests the limits of classical graphic techniques, combining academic excellence with drawing the lightness to which the main characters of her works also surrender - they are full of authentic being women.
